Classical texts, critically edited and translated into Chinese.

The series is academic and non-confessional. Each volume comprises a critical edition of the source text — Latin, Greek, Hebrew, Aramaic, Syriac, Arabic, or Coptic — with manuscript apparatus; a facing scholarly Chinese translation with annotations; an introduction; indices of proper names with their translations; biblical or other references where relevant; and an updated bibliography.

The series also welcomes monographs and conference proceedings in English or Chinese in classical studies, provided they involve ancient languages and engage with the Chinese-speaking world. It is based at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, which provides editorial independence and academic rigor.
